The Eclipse... wasn't it lovely!

I had lovely sunny skies this morning and the Sun was full pelt until about 8:45am...

...you could then see and feel the eclipse happening here and at 9:30am we had our maximum event here in Nottinghamshire - 95% - and just enough cloud cover to capture it too!

Magical!

Not as good as last time, didn't even get that dark here in East Yorks.

I forgot about about the eclipse.   I headed out to work and thought the light didn't  seem quite right.


I had some dark coloured dishes, I doubled them up and wow, magical thing to see.

Up in Ashington they enjoyed their 'Turtle' Eclipse.

A bit further south near St James Park they reported a Shola Eclipse.
