I understand with Facebook mate and your grief, to be honest Facebook isn't the best place to be when you are having melancholy days - and with early grief there are many of them, as both you and I know sorely...

With regards to my trotters! I have had to ask for a formal request of my records (called a SARS) from both my GP and the NHS Mental Health Services of Nottinghamshire - so within them I will have the notes as to why they left my feet so long, when the chiropodist sorted them straightaway after my self-referral to them. Luckily those pictures I took was a lifeline to her seeing me within a week, bypassing the GP referral altogether!

With  regards to my misdiagnosis: Well you know me, I won't let anything get me down (too much) and I do enjoy a good battle with authority - this will be right up my street and it will be to win!

They have worked on changing how the reels are emulated a before and after pic is on the link below

They have decoded the fml format used in mfme so in theory layouts could be imported into mame and played there instead of in mfme thats if Guitar stops asking dumb fucking questions and Vas Crabb fucks it off again for another 4 years.

-machine/em_reel.cpp: Use same default local output name as machine/steppers.cpp.

barcrest, bfm, jpm, maygay, misc: Made reel tags match layouts. Also removed some more unnecessary :pos (still plenty more where that came from).

jpm/jpmsru.cpp: Updated reel outputs in layouts.

Won't make a blind fucking difference other than to show why folks hate submitting stuff to mame

A Major update...

15 years ago, I was, as you were all aware, diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's disease.

For all those that know me personally, you will have been aware that in December 2025, I had a stroke - and had to have a brain scan to determine what kind of stroke I had and where it had hit (I have had a lacunar stroke). 

In April this year I had an appointment at the dementia clinic - and the bombshell was dropped on me - I had been misdiagnosed with dementia! They stopped the medication I have been taking for 15 years and I was told I had a minor cognitive impediment. I was told I should be happy at the news...

Well I am, but I am also very angry and feel betrayed and let down... a quarter of my life wasted - watching loved ones die from dementia-related illnesses and thinking that was going to be me... my lad dying on his death-bed, scared that he was leaving me because I had dementia - and all along I hadn't!

I have been to see my MP, I am currently with a solicitor who has been advising me of the further steps I need to take - because believe me - I will not let this go unaddressed!
