Quote from: Geddy on Aug 19, 2025, 04:51 PMI'm struggling to read most of the forum now.  There is a thread at SMF but I can't see a decent fix.
There IS a fix but it involves commenting out a couple of lines of code in the Punycode.php file.  I could do this but it would involve setting up my old laptop which I don't have to hand right now.

According to the SMF Guys an update is on the way so I reckon that's what we'll have to wait for.  Hopefully it shouldn't be to long.

Plus, there aren't that many users who still visit this site these days.  It's getting almost as bad as FE and I've had it in mind for a while to shut up shop.  The only thing that stops me is that wizard wanted to continue as a sideline to DIF and the fact that its linked directly via MFME 20.1 as a FME resource.  That and that alone is why it's still here!!

I still use here as it gives me a chance to see your fantastic layouts plus I'm able to upload here for people who don't often use DIF.

Think the thing is we've lost members and then there are members who have just stopped visiting/ logging onto the forums for what ever reasons.

Quote from: Geddy on Aug 19, 2025, 08:58 AMStill getting the error, sometimes when checking PMs, sometimes when trying to read the latest post on a thread.  Some threads work some do not.  From Google it seems a common fault with this software update but can't find a fix.
I didn't get chance to check the SMF forum but if it's a common problem then hopefully a fix should be forthcoming soon.
