The crazy thing is I never releaed a layout on MFME. so I am going to have to learn the process. I can't imagine it being too hard - Im not bragging but I was the only one who mastered how to make layouts on BFMulator.

On a side personal note - I have had the most amazing day, I was in crown court for sentancing and looking at upto 2 years in the nick, but as I am epileptic and have other health issues the judge decided prison wouldnt be suitable. I still got 2 years but they are suspended for 2 years, I also have 6 months with a curfew - but Im free. I am so happy LMAO and just wanted to tell someone.

Good to see you back, I've probably played the machines you created.

I wasn't around when the likes of Fruit Forums were about, a lot has changed from the previous emulators up to the 9.4 leaked version.

MFME 20.1 can emulate so many techs now it's amazing the work Chris put into it, sadly he left far to early but his amazing emulator lives on.

Be great to see some layouts from you and will look forward to seeing your progress, even the way toms are loaded in now is completely different.

Glad to see you back around FME.

A lot of water has past under the bridge from those earlier FME days. A lot of us are far older and wiser, than we were back then as well, so there's nowhere near as much friction and disagreements.

Everyone, including Chris, were more relaxed. Sadly for Chris, it's ended far too soon, we are however keeping the FME candle burning and new machines still being emulated, fairly regularly.

I guess I should introduce myself. I have been part of MFME from the late 90s and I.. managed to master making layouts on a new emulator called BFMulator. I managed somehow to become kinda a senior menber and for a short time I was an admin and ran Fruitforums.

All was going well, then I managed to get a leaked version of MFME, with its source code. This emulator could run MPU5 and S4. SO I did what I thought was the right thing and uploaded it with its source code for everyone to use.  This  kinda pissed of off Chris Wren, leading me to be banned from the new forum  DesertIslandFruits, and my account was deleted from here - it was enough, I wasn't really contrituibuting anything more to FME.

I wont go into detail but Andy (Dad) lived close to me, so we went out drinking for a while, became friends -but me being me, I fucked it up. Some good came from it, though, his daughter is one of the nicest people I know and she is now my sister in law as my brother married her. I have nieces and nephews now who are Dads grandkids.

The reason I want to be back is that I saw videos on YouTube made by Alex. It rekindled my interest. I still have Photoshop, which I managed to get pretty good at, and I have a stash of ROMs, so I thought, why not? I hope to be releasing something pretty soon - just got to gather some resources.

Anyway, I guess that my life story with FME. Id love to get back in contact with the dudes I used to talk to in MPU34 IRC chat, so if you're one of them, post and say hi...Hey Id even like to talk to Andy Tutton - and that's saying something.

And thanks Andy for authorising my account.

Thanks for the reply, however the machine was much earlier than this. It was definitely during the 80s and I played it round my local chip shop. Thanks again.

Fruit Machine Arcade / Old 80's Fruit Machine

Hi All

This is a strange request, but during the 80s I seem to remember a fruit machine that used to play the "Mexican Hat Dance" when the jackpot was won. Unfortunately I can not remember anything else about the machine.

I realise this is not a lot to go on but hoping someone can help and remember the game. Thank you very much.
