Happy Christmas everyone.

FME still rolls on, with several unemulated machines being emulated and the odd gem, still uncovered, amongst all the samey gameplay machines.

Keeping up with tradition it's once again that time of the year when we dig out DADsFME's old Christmas Thread.  I've not much to say this year so I'll just echo what I said last year....

Huge thanks to everyone who still visits DADsFME.  Our numbers appear to decline with each passing year but gladly we still have our hardcore FME members to keep the FME torch burning brightly.

Thank you too to all the roms providers, resource gatherers, classic & DX layout designers, Youtubers and those who are working on special projects for FME. Without you guys nothing would get made and our special hobby would simply fade away.

It's been a very quiet second half of the year for me as far as FME goes.  After knocking out a load of Betcom machine's earlier in the year I suddenly hit a wall and just couldn't be bothered anymore.  I don't think I've touched Photoshop in 6 months.  There are a few still to do so I might possibly be tempted if I find some good artwork. Unfortunately that means there won't be a Santa's Sack this year but trust me, I'm not hanging up my DX'ing boots just yet

Let's face it, it couldn't be any worse than last year.

Which is why I retire in September, and am off to as far as I can get from society on one of the Shetland Islands.  Or a crofters cottage on the Scotland West Coast.

I think this is the first time in many years I've not got a cold at Christmas, or the two weeks heading towards it.  I'm still drinking loads of whiskey just in case

I think, it's the first time ever, I had not been well on Xmas Day. Had a couple of very mild hangovers from Xmas Eve drinks, that have gone by lunchtime, but that's it.

Thankfully no headaches, aches or pains, just a horrible tickly, runny nose, sneezing and watery eyes.
