The death of my beloved Nephewson

Hi all,

As a few of you may know on here through the world of Facebook, I lost my beloved Nephewson Roy (I was his uncle, but he called me dad as I brought him up from a young teenager) to stage 4 lung cancer on 9 May - he was just 47 years old and left a family of 6 children behind, the youngest being 7 years old.

He was my rock, my anchor, my carer, my friend, my nephew, my son - and I am not in a very good place. I know will eventually come out of the fog of grief but my life cannot and will not ever be the same again, and I wouldn't ever want it to be either, he was too precious just to forget.

I made a promise to him just before he died that I would stay around and watch help his younger kids grow up into adulthood and I will do this pledge until it is achieved - love conquers all.
