Title: New Accounts
Post by: DAD on Nov 16, 2015, 05:42 PM
Apologies to those people who have signed up recently and haven't yet received their activation email.  Unfortunately there are some issues with the Mail System which we ARE aware of and currently trying to resolve.  Hopefully it should be sorted soon.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

The DADsFME Team.

*** Update *** I've manually approved all outstanding members for the time being..... new users, still continue to register in the normal way, but be reminded it can take up to 24 hrs for a member of staff to manually approve your account, whilst we get the issue with the e-mail activation sorted.

Just bumping this thread as issues with the activation emails and the speed of the site still exist.  Hopefully all should be fixed within a week when we move hosts.

Thanks for your patience.

It's come to my attention that a number of sign-up emails are being returned undelivered again. I am requesting that it's looked into.

Thanks.  There's quite a queue, but no idea why.  I'm assuming it's a server issue.

Please do as there are now 40+ accounts waiting.

Apologies to anyone caught up in these issues.  If you contact me directly via dadsfme@gmail.com with a username, password (containing both uppercase, lowercase and numbers) and a valid email address I may be able to set up your account manually.

Cheers

Just giving this thread a *bump* as there are still issues with email notofications.  The site has recently had a complete software update and the settings appear to be correct so I'm assuming it must be a server issue.

Pete/Alex, any chance you could take a look please?  Thanks very much.
