Title: RIP Wizard
Post by: Geddy on Sep 13, 2020, 04:28 PM
It's with great sadness and as reported at MFME's home that Chris Wren, aka Wizard has sadly passed away.  I guess the scene is going to be in huge shock for quite a while.

RIP Chris and many thanks for everything you have gave to FME land.  :'(

Indeed, its come as a complete shock.

R.I.P. wizard and thank you for everything you've done for fruit machine emulation.

FME simply wouldn't have existed without his skill, knowledge, dedication and enthusiasm and he will be sadly missed by every single person across the FME forums.

Here's a link to MFME's homepage with the initial announcement...

So glad we all ended up moving on from the past and having a ball these past 4 years.

A great loss to the whole of emulation and very difficult to find enough words to express how hard the news has hit us all.  :-\

RIP Chris.

I had to brace myself for that video as I couldn't see the screen, it took me several times before I could truly watch it as my emotions kept getting the better of me. A heartfelt video Degsy and as Reg said over at DIF he would want us to carry on enjoying MFME and all of the lovely fruit machines, can hear it now "Will you lot just get on with it" Chris was like that and was the best thing I liked about his attitude towards FME Land, straight to the point and get stuck in, not a dilly dally type of soul and I will miss him more than words can say. His blood, sweat, tears and spirit runs through the veins of this realm so in our heart of hearts he is and always will be here, with us.

Much love Chris, may you rest well and look down on us from time to time.

Thank you for everything.

Jason
